| Diane Findlay Tossing off my organiser's hat I pulled on my playing shirt and proudly wore the silver fern and focused on playing the best I could. It was a wonderful privilege to meet up again with teammates and "foes" and to battle to win back the Trans Tasman trophy for NZ. As I looked at the faces around me on the terrain during the powhiri, the opening ceremony and the playing of the anthems and flag raising, I rejoiced in both the similarities and differences between our two countries. Somehow that particular moment made all the problems of the week leading up to event pale into insignificance. It was a joy to have both my husband Andrew and Malcolm in the team playing alongside me and our other teammates in what was to be an eventful weekend resulting in a win to NZ
