Tossing off my organiser's hat I pulled on my playing shirt and proudly wore the silver fern and focused on playing the best I could. It was a wonderful privilege to meet up again with teammates and "foes" and to battle to win back the Trans Tasman trophy for NZ.

It was a joy to have both my husband Andrew and Malcolm in the team playing alongside me and our other teammates in what was to be an eventful weekend resulting in a win to NZ
